Halloween Preview, Tummy Time and more BABY!

First off, I really am not good at taking pictures!! haha I always have to delete a ton because they're blurry, no ones looking, eyes are closed or various other reasons. And this post is the best I have and Jake is never looking at the camera! haha
Jake is over 3 weeks old and getting big!! He's getting girth and getting long!! Love my little baby chunk. Vince is good around Jake but has his moments of jealously. He really does love Jake and tells him "bless you Jake" when he sinuses and says, "goodnight Jake" when I put him down for naps. Super cute.
Vince is a little parrot. He is talking nonstop and will repeat anything you say. He loves running around and loves being outside. He loves mowing the lawn with Ryan and will push his mower around the whole time Ryan is mowing. He loves putting his toys in various buckets and bins. We have a pumpkin Halloween bucket for trick or treating that he calls his "pumpkin bucket." He puts his little toys in it and will carry them around the house. Then outside his has like 4 different buckets he moves his outside toys around in. It's fun to see his imagination and creativity coming into play. He keeps me laughing :)

Vince slipped on a pillow and smacked his head right into the corner of the wall last week! I felt horrible and was ready for blood everywhere. Thankfully he just got a big goose egg and a cut that barely bled. It's healing well :) He talks about the bandaid that was on it all the time. He never forgets anything!

Dananananananananan Batman!! We've been so blessed with people giving us hand me downs and they are always so nice!! I was going through clothes finding Vince some bigger sizes and came across these Batman jammies and I was so excited!! We sing the song and he loves it. He's going to be Batman for Halloween!! All I have to do is make a cape and it's complete. I have a Superman onsie for Jake. We'll have some superheros around here :)
(Megan I totally thought of Matthew and Reece :)

I put Jake on the ground to do tummy time and told Vince to join us. He thought it was funny and laid down with us saying "Vince tummy time" then he got his trucks and was saying "truck tummy time!" Haha he cracks me up

Vince has these new overalls and they remind me of a train conductor! SO CUTE!!

Jake is a little over 2 weeks old! He had his 2 week check up and already weighs 8lbs!! Everything looks great and he's healthy and strong. Such a blessing, He's changing literally daily and getting more chunk! He is so cute!!!

Grandma Sondra made Jake this blanket which he loves. It's his favorite!

He LOVES to stretch his legs! lol

Love this face

It's not always smiles! haha

I had Vince come over to show Jake his toys.

The First 10 days

Wow, Jake is already 10 days old. Things are going good here. My mom flew into town on Monday and has been a  HUGE help. I seriously don't know what I'd do without her. She is Vinces best friend. He loves his grandma Kelle and they have been playing and having fun nonstop. Vince is doing good adjusting and hasn't had any jealousy toward Jake. He will talk to him but not too up close and personal. He getting more used to him as time is going on.
Jake is a good content baby. He loves to be held and knows when you put him down. I forget how much newborns sleep. I'm so used to Vince but things are coming back. Vince seems like a GIANT compared to Jake! haha It seriously seems like his gained 10 lbs since we've had Jake because Jake is so much lighter. It's still crazy to think Ryan and I had 2 children but we love it. It's fun but crazy at times. Like I said it's nice having mom here to help :)

Dad with the boys during General Conference

This weekend has been great! It's so nice having Ryan home and it was General Conference. I love Conference and the inspired messages from the prophet and general authorities we get to hear.

The weather was also beautiful it was 70 and low humidity with blue skies. Ryan was mowing the lawn when I got Vince up from his nap. As I went in to get Vince he heard Ryan mowing and stood up saying "lawn mower!" He immediately wanted to go out and "help" dad. It was so cute!!

Jake is just growing and growing. It's with how fast he is changing. We've been doing tummy time and he's doing pretty good getting his head up. Such a big boy :)

Thankfully we've been able to have Jake use all Vince's old clothes. The other day mom was holding Jake and I remembered we had taken a picture of Vince in the same position and outfit.

This top one is Jake and the bottom is Vince. It's fun seeing the similarities and differences.

Look at those lips!

I gave Vince a haircut. He's getting so big!

I had to get a picture! He loves yogurt and is just a doll!
