Life is good

I am blessed!
I have the best husband and two beautiful boys.
I love being a wife and a mother and I am so grateful I am able to stay home and raise my boys. Don't get me wrong, not everyday is a basket of fruit, and some days can seem a little monotonous, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! I'm amazed at the changes Vince and Jake go through in just a day. They are constantly learning, and I'm learning from them. Vince is so smart and cracks me up with the things he says sometimes! There's no place I'd rather be :)

I love how Vince loves tools like his dad and likes to work on things with him

I wanted a picture, haha you can see in Vince's face he's like, "C'mon mom, don't bother us, we have work to do"

My handsome boy

The other day I started snapping some pictures of us and I loved how they turned out!

Boys having a conversation

HAHA everytime I see this picture I laugh! I've started making green smoothies for breakfast which are so good. Vince wanted some and obviously thoroughly enjoyed it :)

And the many faces of Jake

Ryan made Vince this ramp to drive his cars down and the other day brought it outside and made a mega ramp!

Pure joy

6 Months Old

Happy 6 Months Jake!!

Wow, I seriously cannot believe that Jake has been alive for half a year! Time flies. He is getting big and I mean BIG!! I had him on the scale with me a week ago and he was like 17/18lbs! We go to the doctor for his 6 month checkup in a week and a half and we'll see where he's really at.
  • He's eating baby food and has been for about a month around dinner time. I just started feeding him breakfast today. He eats rice cereal, oatmeal, applesauce, pears, sweet potatoes and green beans and obviously nurses.
  • Since a few weeks ago we finally put him in his own room and Vince is in our room (wow, I didnt think a room sould get so jammed. There's literally 1 1/2 feet between our bed and Vinces. We have 3 dressers in Jakes room but hey, if Jake will sleep then I'll do anything!) and he was sleeping from 6:30 to 4 or 5 then til 8!!!! He's had a cold the past 2 weeks and things were interrupted but he's getting back to a good pattern.
  • He rolls all over, from front to back and back to front like a boss
  • He's started to have a fascination with his feet and grabs them all the time now
  • Loves to be around and watch his brother
  • No teeth
  • Still pretty much no hair
  • Loves his Johnny Jumper and to be sitting up to see the world :)
  • More of a serious baby, but can laugh on occasion (haha)
We love Jake so much!! It's incredible to be a mother to not only one, but two boys. Everyday I thank my Heavenly Father for the opportunity to be a mother to Vince and Jake. They are truly a blessing and bring me more joy than words can describe!

Haha, so I went to buy the boys more jammies and I came across this beauty. It's a sleep sack and I had only heard of them and decided to give it a whirl. It's awesome! First of all, Ryan and I laugh everytime we see Jake in it because it's so CUTE! It's like a pillowcase tanktop! haha It's perfect because it's like a blanket that won't cover his face and keeps him warm at night.

Like I said before Jake likes to be up seeing the world, so when you put him on his back his flips right over and has that head up looking around. I showed him the bead coaster and he loves it! Vince is starting to get more possesive because now Jake can actually start to play with his toys. We've had quite a few talks about sharing recently ;)

So nice when they play together, which is usually for like 30 seconds, haha
