Halloween and more

I forgot to post these pictures from when Jaynee and Navy were here. Vince and Navy were so cute together!

I loved him in this shirt and his eyes

Feeding the ducks!

Carving pumpkins!

Breakfast time

Halloween night!!This was Vince's first Halloween of actually going trick or treating and he did great! We pushed him and Jake around in the stroller, Jake was sleeping but still part of the festivities. Now in the south people sit out on their front porches and hand out candy. Probably because it's one of the few places where it's warm enough to be out on the porch at the end of October. It was 75 degrees!! We'd pull up to a house and he's get out and go straight for the candy bowl, we had to tell him to let them give him the candy, say trick or treat and then thank you. :) He did pretty good and definetelyenjoyed getting the candy! After we went to about 10 houses we went back home and passed out candy. Vince was such a good boy and would put candy in peoples buckets, sometimes by the handful :)

We loved this one! haha Real life

He looks like a little man!

We ran into Vince's friends, Ollie and Aliya. He loved that he was Elmo!

Weekend with Jaynee and Navy

One of my good friends Jaynee  and her daughter were able to come visit the other weekend and it was so fun!! Ryan went out of town for his interview so not only was it fun visiting but she was able to help with the boys. Vince and Navy had a lot of fun together too and still talks about her :)
We went to the duck pond, lots of walks, the kids fed the ducks and threw rocks in the water having a blast, decorated Halloween cookies, went to our churchs Trunk or Treat, went to the park, talked, laughed and had lots of fun!

This was Jake at one month

My boys!

Brothers :)

Vince and I made cookies the morning before Jaynee came and Vince loved it! I've been having him more involved in the kitchen and he's all game. He loves to help me with recipes and scooping flour or sugar into bowls and stirring. There's always a mess but more fun than if I did it alone. :) He also LOVES to help unload the dishwasher and put away dishes from the drying rack. He'll seriously drop anything he's doing to come help. When he unloads the silverware he'll hand it to me one at a time and tell me what each piece is. It's so cute!

I Love this face

and this one :)

What big helpers

Navy loved Jake, I think she helped Vince warm up to him more

This was at the ward Trunk or Treat. It was a little crazy because it was close to bedtime and Vince didn't nap well that day. I'm obviously also very new at being a mom of two and still trying to get the hang of being out with 2 kids. Thankfully I had Jake in the front carrier and he slept the whole time. Vince was a mover as you can see in the picture and was feeding off the energy of all the kids. By the time it was time to actually trunk or treat Vince was done and Jaynee had to carry him to the cars to get candy while I passed out candy at our car! haha

Kitchen Redo

As Ryan and I were just looking through our pictures we realized we started the kitchen almost a year ago!! This is what it looked like when we moved in. Plain yellowish on yellowish.

Boring!

After lots of paint and hardwork, mostly on Ryan's part we finished and LOVE our kitchen!!
We painted it gray and Ryan made wainscoting which really made it pop! Nice job babe!
