Camping in Council

We recently went camping in Council, Idaho (McCall area) with almost all of Ryans family. It was so fun! We all got together to celebrate Ryan's brother graduating from college. Him and his wife got a cabin in the mountains for everyone to stay at for the weekend. It was so nice of them!
The cabin was beautiful and it was in the secluded Idaho foothills with this big creek that the kids LOVED throwing rocks in.
 It was perfect.
It was just so fun being with the family and having the kids all play together. We don't all live close together and only get to see each other only a few times a year, if that. So being all to get together when we can is just the best :)
We had a blast talking, eating, shooting guns, throwing rocks in the water, campfires, laughing and eating more. Seriously I ate better on this camping trip than I do at home :)

Mystery Solved!
Haha we saw this picture when we got home looking through all the pictures, and Ryan and I immediately thought of the bigfoot picture. We had to put them side by side!

Logan, Melissa and Jake are all within 2 months apart. Melissa and Jake are about a week apart

Fishing Trip

Last weekend we went on an awesome fishing trip. It's a pretty secluded lake over on the east side, somewhat by Lake Roosevelt. My grandpa grew up going fishing here and has continued on the tradition by coming every year. This was our first year going with everyone and all expectations were exceeded. My mom and everyone always talked about how they caught so many fish and never left empty handed. This year didn't let us down. We caught over 25 fish is a day and a half! They were rainbow trout and the biggest we'd ever seen, they were like little salmon. They were from 14-19 inches!!! That was the kind of fishing I liked. We just fished from the dock. You'd cast your line and seriously 5 minutes later you had a bit. It was so fun, everyone caught fish, including Jake :)

We stayed in these cute cabins

Haha, he reminded me of a little hun!

This was the cleaning station. Ryan did all the dirty work while I bagged them. Boy did it have a smell over here. They had a bear trap out the first night!

Haha I LOVE this face!! My little outback man :)
