4th of July

We got to go up to my grandpas beach house for 4th of July weekend and had a blast! I bought the boys some sunglasses from the Dollar Tree. Vince's are still around, Jakes lasted about 2 days until he broke them. haha He loves to tests everythings limits.

It's about a 2 hour car ride up to the beach house

We go crabbing while we're up there and the boys love to go out in the boat. We bought them some lifejackets that fit and I think their faces say it all.

Buckley Log Show

We love living in Enumclaw! It's beautiful and more laid back. It's not in the middle of nowhere but far away enough from the city to be out in the country. It's so pretty with all the farmlands and then forests and foothills in the background leading up to Mt Rainier.
Buckley is the next town over and every year they hold a fun festival called the Buckley Log Show. It's a manly man type of festival where all the lumberjacks compete in all these different chainsawing, wood chopping type competitions. It's really fun to watch and I told Ryan he needs to sign up. If you've ever seen my man chop wood, you'd understand ;)

The boys and Ryan were loving all the trucks and we all thought the race up the trees trunks was pretty impressive

Family Room Makeover

Are house is slowly coming together. We picked out this great vibrant and fun blue for our family room and I LOVE it!! It was this weird army green/brown and not very appealing and now I feel happy when I'm in here!

Buds

Vince and Jake are best buds. Don't get me wring, they have their moments but for the most part they are always playing together, reading together and of coarse relaxing together. Vince still sucks on his arm and loves his Elmo and Jake is more of a thumb guy and loves his blankie and Curious George stuffed animal

Boys after we had picked strawberries. I picked and saved, the boys picked and ate :)

My Very Own Shopping Cart

Holy cow I got behind on my blog but I'm going to catch up!

Back in June we went to a great neighborhood garage sale and found this baby. A personal shopping cart for $1! Vince was pumped and wanted to bring it to the grocery store. I was a little hesitant at first but caved. It was too cute to pass up!

What a man!
