Beach House

My grandpa and bestemor have this awesome beach house up near Anacortes, WA. We got to go there growing up all the time and LOVED it! We try to go up every time we visit and this time got to go up for July 4th. The best part was that everyone was able to come up and stay at least one night.

Vince loved uncle Harrison

He also loves peas :)

Throwing rocks is a favorite activity. Here's some action shots

Crab season had just started and we caught a TON!! It was great!

This is a shipwrecked boat that showed up in the bay a few years ago. Kinda cool and kinda creepy but there was tons of muscles we were able to peel off to cook up and eat.

On the 4th we went over to "Boom City" and bought some fireworks. The beach house is on Indian Reservation so pretty much anything goes :) We bought some fun things for Vince to see and my brothers and cousin got some pretty big stuff. It was fun!

Parachute Mountain

While in Washington we went on a great hike up Parachute Mountain. There's a runway at the top where people parachute off and a landing at the bottom where you park. It was a pretty good hike and a gorgeous view!!

This is the parachute runway and view of Lake Sammamish and Issaquah area

This was too cute not to take a picture! Pooped from all the hard hiking he did :)

First to the bottom!

30 weeks, engineers and camping

Ok, lots of catch up over the past month! We've been out of town in Washington visiting family and I have tons of pictures!

Update on baby. I'm 30 weeks pregnant in a few days and everything is going great. I'm definitely feeling the heat but really can't complain. We're so excited to meet our little man and for Vince to meet his little brother. He knows baby is in mama's tummy and will give him kisses, so cute! He's going to be such a good big brother :)
30 weeks and as you can see we painted our wall dark blue for an accent wall! Love it, I'll post more pictures later.

This was about a month ago. Ryan had to fix on of Vince's toys and took it all apart and Vince was right there helping. Little engineer, like father like son!

A month ago we went camping with Ryan's sister's family up in the Smokey Mountains in North Carolina. It was so fun and Vince's first camping trip! That week it was 90s everyday in Augusta and I looked up the weather in Asheville, NC (which is the closest city to where we were camping) and it was supposed to be upper 80s. So I packed pretty light for warmth. Well I really wasn't thinking because we were up in the mountains and it was a little cooler than anticipated, thankfully I had warm clothes for Vince and a few warm things for us but it was a little chilly at night! haha It was really only 60, but when your house is usually 77 degrees it feels cold!
We got there Friday afternoon, set up camp and started making dinner and it starts raining and thundering. Then it literally POURS for like 20 min and everything was soaked. Luckily Shalyse had a HUGE tent and we all piled in and the kids had fun playing. Other than that we had nice weather and we're able to enjoy everything.

On our way up. Camping requires a lot of stuff, camping with a child requires pretty much the whole house!

Vince and Andrea

haha Will likes to sport a frown at times!

Vince had a blast throwing rocks

Saturday morning we went on a hike up to a fire tower where we were supposed to be able to see everything. The hike was good but when we got to the top it was in a big cloud so we couldn't see anything! haha On the way up Ryan and Vince were in the lead and saw a big black bear!! He saw Ryan and took off running, but kinda crazy. There were bear boxes in all our campsites too!

Top of the fire tower. It was kinda freaky climbing it because it was super windy and creaky but we made it

Miss Andrea

haha Vince, Ryan and I all had teal blue shirts on, believe me, it wasn't planned. It was cute :)

I LOVE this video, so cute!! Vince has the best dad!
