Haircut Time

Haircut time! 

I always cut the boys hair and don't get to crazy because:

A. I'm not a professional

2. The boys, mostly Vince hates getting his haircut

D. The boys could careless what their hair looks like at their age

I usually just go with the buzz because it's great for summers and it's quick and easy. Like I said, Vince usually hates getting his haircut but he did so much better this time! He even smiled beforehand.

Full disclosure: They always get to watch a show and get a treat after, but it works!

Morning Videos

Haha everytime I see these pictures I laugh because of Vince and Jakes faces!

A few mornings a week we watch 2 or 3 youtube videos while we eat breakfast, usually nursery rhyme ones, and the boys love it. My cousin has a few funny videos he's made and lately we've been watching those. Despite the boys faces, they love them and always want to watch it again or more. I don't know why they have this look on their face but it kills me, haha

Twin Falls

We love hiking and years past the boys have been small enough where we could put both of them in hiking backpacks and go where we wanted. Now with Vince almost being 4 1/2 and Jake is only 5 lbs less and me being pregnant we can't go that route. Ryan can still carry Jake but Vince has had to step it up and walk on his own and he's done pretty well. 

We hiked Twin Falls which is I'd say easy to moderate hike but had some good hills for Vince but he did great and did the whole thing! It was beautiful going through the forest and having the river right next to you and then the falls at the end.

Yard Work

We have been doing tons of work to the yard. Despite being the rainiest winter and spring on record it's slowed down the past few weeks and we've thankfully had some sunshine and heat. We got tons of dirt and spread it everywhere, laid down more grass seed, redid some flower bed, Ryan dug some big trenches to bury drainspouts from the gutters, weeded out of blueberries and laid bark all over, planted and have been working in the garden! Lots of work but we all enjoy being outside (except with all the pollen in the air the last week and my allergies killing me)!

It's so fun because the boys love being outside too and are learning to work some as well :) They love working with Ryan and especially helping him mow the lawn.
