Labor Day

Labor Day Weekend we went up to the Beach House again. It's such a neat place!! Shawn, Traci and their kids and Garrick and Teisha came along making it even better.

That view never gets old

We went over to Rosario Beach and were playing in the tide pools.

Vince was eating his probably 15th fruit snack of the weekend because Uncle Garrick brought a huge Costco box of them and was like Santa Claus for the kids that weekend :)

Garrick is a close family friend but like an uncle to the kids. They much fun playing with him and Vince still talks about him :)

Father and son hike

Caught lots of crab!!

Vince and Garrick had lots of fun playing badmitten

This wasnt at the beach house but I had to put it in because Ryan caught it mid-cast! Pretty cool!

Love my husband

There's a produce stand called the Snow Goose on the way to and from the beach house that we would stop by sometimes. So now we have to stop and when the sign says, "Immodestly sized ice cream cones" they arent lying :)

Best Friends

Tami Ruth
Paige Farr
Jaynee Gierke
Megan Gaian
We have been best friends for over 10 years now!!
We've been through thick and thin together and have so many good memories. I knew Tami and Jaynee since junior high but we really became close, and meet Megan at BYU-Idaho in 2006. I seriously had so much fun at that school and have only good things to say. We're all married now, have kids and literally live all over the US. From Washington to California to Georgia to Pennsylvania!
Even though we are far apart we talk and manage to almost see each other yearly. Seriously these women are amazing and I love them dearly :)

This summer Megan and Jaynee came out to visit and Tami had just come seriously the week before but couldnt change flights. We had a blast but did miss our Tam!

Reece's and Makenzie's Weddings

This summer was super exciting because 2 of my cousins who are actually brother and sister got married 3 weeks apart from each other!! It was a whirlwind of fun and excitement with bridal showers, temple marriages and receptions.

Makenzie and Will LeFevre were married August 20th in the Seattle Temple

Reece and Kiara Clayson were married Sept 10th in the Seattle Temple

New Septic

It's done!!
When we bought this house last November we knew we needed to get a new septic system but we couldnt do it until there was 2 weeks of no rain. Well if anyone knows western Washington, you know that, that pretty much doesnt happen until the summer. So they started working in August and got it finished up in a couple weeks.

The boys LOVED watching the excavators and dump trucks.

A boys dream to have 5 different heavy machinery trucks in your backyard at one time!

Best Buds

Vince and Jake are best friends! I love the age gap of our 2 boys, it took about the first 9 months before I could say that, but I really do. It's perfect because they pretty much have the same interests and get along so well. Vince usually will start getting into something and Jake will follow suit.

They like to dress up as superheros. The favorites are Superman, Batman and Spiderman.

This August we went Blueberry picking down along the Green River Valley and had lots of fun. We gathered lots of berries and ate lots too!

The Rest of our Wisconsin Trip

Despite the car accident we still had a wonderful visit with family and truly counted our many blessings.

We celebrated Logan and Ethan's birthday while we were there.

We made a second stop at the Amish bakery. Just look at that pretzel!!!

Took some time to relax haha

The boys found a frog and were mesmerized

We were able to stop in a see Ryans brother and his family in North Dakota. It was so much fun even though it was a short visit and we got to meet Miss Rowen!

So precious!

Stopped at the Bismark, North Dakota Temple

Took a rest stop somewhere in Montana and it was like 103 degrees. It felt like we were in a convention oven!

Had to stop at Crackerbarrel before coming home :)
