Gator Nation

A few weeks ago Ryan went up to Iowa for business so Vince and I decided to take a trip down south to visit my good friend Tami. They recently moved to Gainesville because her husband is doing a ceramics program at University of Florida aka Gator Nation! It's really crazy how we are both living in the south at the same time and are only 6 hrs away. We both grew up in Washington and are literally on the opposite side of the country at the same time. So we are taking full advantage of being so close!

Just look at those legs!!

We had to take a couple breaks and Vince loved "driving" I would have to pry his hands off the steering wheel when it was time to go! haha

We had lots of fun, we went on walks, out to eat at Chick Fila (you can read about the fun adventure here), shopping, picnic, went to the beach, trick or treating on campus, lots of playing for the kids and talking and laughing for us! It was great!!

We went out the the gulf to a beach called Cedar Keys. It was kinda cold and windy, so no swimming but we had fun playing at the little park and having a picnic

Don't worry Ellie had a blast :)

There was a Halloween activity that the sorority girls put on, on campus which was neat. They had this little picture booth and I was dying laughing, they were so cute!

Ellie was a Spanish girl and SO DARLING!! Her outfit was really from Spain and was so cool! She played the part well!

The nickname for the campus is the swamp and it definitely lives up to it's name. There's spanish moss everywhere and it was pretty neat.

You don't see this sign everyday. And we did see a few alligators and even some baby ones that were actually pretty cute!

haha I don't know where Vince it looking but those two had lots of fun together
