Week of Will

We watched my nephew Will for a week while his parents went on a cruise. It was quite a week, I felt like I had twins! Vince LOVED having Will around, it was so cute to see him!! Vince would hear Will wake up and run into his room after I opened the door. Then run to his pack n play and smash his face into it to say hi! He's going to be such a good big brother!! We had fun but I was pretty tired by the end of the week! :)

Mr Will was a VERY good eater, could keep up with Vince which impressed us!

They were so cute in their highchairs. They would try to share food if they were close enough

They LOVED looking out the window at everything. Vince also loved touching Will's head :)

Will is only 11 months so still drinks a bottle and Vince was fascinated by it! He would watch and try to take it away, then I'd have to explain, "No, this is Will's drink." Then get him his and they'd drink next to each other! So cute!

They played together really good, I was impressed there was only a few times of time outs! :)

Will absolutely LOVED the Johnny Jump up!! He was so cute, he would jump and jump and just laugh and smile! So precious!!

Vince would try to jump too! So cute!

Best buds!

Baby #2

Yes, we're pregnancy and so excited! Baby's due date is Sept 30th, I'm predicting Oct 2nd because the 2nd is a popular day in our family. My birthday is Dec 2nd, Vince's is Jan 2nd and Ryan and my anniversary is April 2nd (tomorrow, 4 years baby!)!!
I'm 14 weeks and starting to feel a lot better which is nice. I felt nauseated off and on, more on than off for about a month. It doesn't sound that bad but it was no fun. I was definitely tired! More than with Vince, but that's probably because I have Vince this time. :) I am getting more energy now too which is so nice. Other than that, everything is going great. People have asked how this pregnancy is compared with Vince and I really feel like it's close to the same. I had a good pregnancy with Vince so I hope it continues! :) Baby is doing great, we've had an ultrasound and have been able to listen to baby's heartbeat and it's perfect. Oh yes and I'm definitely showing earlier than last time. :)

Cabela's comes to the south and garden update

Here's a little garden update. We started growing our tomato plants inside because we started them from seeds and they are doing great! Except one is struggling but we have faith! :) They were growing out of the egg cartons so we moved them to some bigger pots so they could grow before we put them in the ground.

Today was a big day, opening day of the first Cabela's not only in Georgia but the Southeast! The closest one is in Charleston, WV!! It was awesome that they opened one right in Augusta, GA. They were giving away up to $250 gift cards to the first 500 people so Vince and I thought we'd give it a go. We got there an hour early and our chances looked pretty good. The weather was great and Vince had a good time being in the stroller and walking around entertaining people. Ryan ended up coming for a long lunch break right before it opened and had seen that the line had wrapped around where we couldn't see and we didn't end up being the first 500. But it was still fun and got a bunch of free stuff they were handing out, entered a sweepstake and Ryan bought some .22 ammo.

It was so cute this morning when he was eating his oatmeal he started to see Elmo and got excited and a big smile, then if I covered him up again with more oatmeal he'd fuss. He loves his Elmo!

This is in line at Cabelas. trooper with Elmo

It was fun, instead of cutting the red ribbon for the grand opening, the had an archer shoot an arrow through the ribbon. You can see him in the tree stand and I could actually see it break the ribbon from where I was standing.

The boys

Vince was getting pretty tired. We're starting to transition from 2 to 1 naps and he stayed up later than normal without a nap, but he did well.

It was cute, they had music going and I look down at Vince and he was dancing a little. I tried to get it on film, but he was done

Happy boy, sick boy

These first 2 pictures are from a couple weeks ago right before church. I actually put a tie on him and he was TOO CUTE!! Love my little man!

On St Patrick's Day, we had a sick boy in the house. :( He woke up with a fever and felt crummy all day. Thankfully it was short lived and he was better the next day, but this Irish lad wasn't doing any jigs. I was able to catch some smiles for a few moments after one of his naps though.

He absolutely LOVES looking out his window. He loves looking at all the cars go by and the birds, and will tell me them.

Another new thing is he LOVES the dish towels I hang on the oven door. He takes them all the time dragging them around like they're his blankie. I'll find them scattered all over the house. I'll need one to dry my hands or dishes and it's gone, Ss I put a new one out and sure enough he comes in a snatches it! haha It's pretty funny and cute. I have no idea why he likes them so much. He'll also substitute a white onsie on occasion if it's nearby. :)

This is later in the afternoon when he was TIRED. He NEVER lays down like this for more than a few seconds unless he's exhausted. It looked so cute, and I had to take some pictures before putting him back in bed.

Sweet Home Alabama

I always try to think of these "catchy" title and they usually end up being corny and I just laugh. No, we are not moving to Alabama, but a couple weeks ago Vince and I went to visit one of my best friends', Jaynee. Ryan went on a business trip/convention for a week and we decided to go visit friends. It worked out well because her husband was away on military training too so the kids could play and we could get together and help pass the time. Jaynee lives in Fort Rucker, AL which is about 6 hrs away. We had tons of fun even though the weather wasn't the best. We went to the park, a petting zoo, frozen yogurt, a lake and just hung out and had fun. Vince and Navy got along pretty well, most of the time, but sharing is always a fun factor to throw in the mix, especially since Vince is starting to not want to share, but they did really good and had fun. Navy was a good sport sharing her toys. :)

Jaynee has this awesome double stroller which Vince loved, Navy wasn't the biggest fan at that time! haha

Frozen yogurt

We all loved it.
Side note: Vince LOVES this short video we watch on youtube called "Elmos song." So before we came we were watching elmos song and he got excited and was "dancing" and bumped his chin on the coffee table and was bleeding! I felt so bad, but he's a trooper.

Vince loves books and is starting to "read" on his own sometimes! I love watching him learn!

Cool girl

Vince loved this big stuffed giraffe, he went to it all the time

Wednesday we went to this petting zoo. It was pretty neat and saw lots of farm animals. We read farm books a lot so it was fun for Vince to actually see the animals.

He loved the John Deere tractor that one of the owners was driving. He watched it the whole time and kept pointing at it. He says vroom, vroom, a lot when he sees tractors or lawn mowers. So cute!

He didn't quite no what to think of the cowboy, stick your face in the picture, board. haha

Thanks Jaynee and Navy, we had a blast!
